You will be able to select how many websites can use it and how much data it will cache, in other words – there’re two separate upgradable features – the instances and the system memory. You can get more of both, so if one of your Internet sites becomes extremely busy, for example, you can always add more memory to it. Our system is pretty flexible in this regard and we don’t bind a given number of instances to a fixed amount of system memory. You can employ the Memcached platform to increase the speed of any script-driven site, including those based on popular apps, such as Joomla™ or WordPress.
Memcached in VPS Servers
When you buy a VPS server from us, you will be able to use Memcached at no extra charge, as the platform comes with all virtual servers ordered with the Hepsia hosting Control Panel. It will start storing content as users visit your site, so you will notice the result of using it shortly after that. The minimum amount of system memory that will be available to the Memcached platform is three gigabytes and naturally, the more powerful the dedicate server package, the more system memory Memcached will have at its disposal. This amount will permit you to take advantage of the caching platform for a lot of sites or for a very large site without compromising its efficiency.
